Do you have references and examples of completed projects?

Yes, we have hundreds of references of past projects I can provide that you are encouraged to call or drive by. You'll find that I'm very hands-on, accessible, and responsive to my customers. In fact, each one of our references knows me personally, not just my crew.

Do you replace rotted wood, or do I need to hire a carpenter or handyman first?

You don't need to bring in a separate contractor. Our team includes skilled carpenters for both interior and exterior repairs. They can provide trim work, baseboards, moldings, wainscoting, crown molding, fascia and soffits, window and door frame repair, deck flooring and rails, porch steps, flooring and rails, and replace rotted or moldy wood. Are you licensed and insured?

Yes, ProTEK Painters is fully insured for your protection with both General Liability and Workers' Compensation. We are also licensed, per our state's law, as a Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor (HIC#: 190428), and certified as an EPA Lead Safe Renovator (MA EPA#: LR004172). We're happy to provide our certificates of insurance upon request.

How much money do I need to put down to begin the project?

Typically, for projects greater than $2,000, we ask for a deposit of 1/3 the total contract price. We don’t ask for a deposit on projects of $2,000 or less. Low-cost financing is available.
