They were pleasant and efficient, and sent the estimate immediately after. Once they scheduled the job, their team arrived on the designated day, and worked very hard to get the job done perfectly. The team was friendly and polite. The work was excellent. When we discovered one little place by the back door that had been overlooked, they sent the team over immediately to address it. We really wanted our house painted during a specific week of the summer: even though we could plan ahead for scheduling, this would generally seem a difficult thing to plan given uncertainty of weather. John managed to get the job started within 1 day of the target date and still finished a day early. He brought in a large crew to accomplish this. He and his crew were very easy to work with. The house looks great!

Great Experience. ProTect just painted our house in Newton. They arrived when they said they would, had all the right colors and were conscientious and efficient. Came back the next day for a few touch-ups. The house came out beautifully, and we are very pleased. Price was the best of three estimates that we got, and so we feel we got good value for the money.

I recently used ProTEK Painters to paint my entire condo. I can't say enough good things about the quality of service provided. This team does high quality work at a reasonable price and they come highly recommended. John Guarino, the owner, gave me a very fair estimate, which was much more reasonable than any of the competitors I asked to also bid on the project. He was also able to schedule me very quickly and was very responsive to email. He also dropped by one of the days to check in and make sure I was happy with how things were going.
Alex and Yez were a great crew as well. They were pleasant, personable, reliable and trustworthy, and I knew they would take great care of the condo. They were very thorough about prepping all of the walls, moving and covering all furniture and cleaning up any plaster dust that was left behind. The painting itself was very quick and looks great. They were very meticulous with cutting in around the trim, baseboards and cabinets. The total job was done in three days, and that was to paint an entire 1200 square foot apartment.
I couldn't be happier with how it turned out and would hire them again for other jobs in the future.

The team is professional, friendly, neat, and very talented. They arrive on time, do great work, and clean up thoroughly. They alert you to any questions or potential issues, and John is always available if you have questions. He also writes to make sure you're satisfied, and to send the team back to fix anything that might need fixing. There's never any need for that! ProTEK are great!

After having a drop ceiling removed in my basement I realized that before having my HVAC duct work installed, the ceiling and beams needed to be painted. I was going to leave the beams exposed to give more height to the room. Painting the area beforehand was someting I had not planned and there was only a small window of time. John came out right away to give me a quote, worked the job into his schedule and by the end of the week it was done. The painter sprayed on several coats and used a special primer to prevent bleed through. I am very pleased with the result and even after a month the job looks great! When other projects come up in the future I will not hesitate to call John Guarino at ProTEK Painters.
